Solène Anglaret, Speaker, Author & Founder | Storytelling | Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging | Mental Health | Neurodiversity | Disability | Leadership | Innovation.
“We’re all neurodiverse, but not all of us are marginalized for it” said Atif Choudhury, Co-Founder of Diversity & Ability. How come? Well, neurodiversity refers to the diversity found in the human brain and cognition, and we’re all wired differently. But only some of us face barriers when interacting with a society largely designed for and by the neurotypical majority. Neurodiversity was coined in the late 1990s by Australian sociologist Judy Singer and is an umbrella term under which we find many conditions, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, autism, Tourette’s, and more. It is estimated that 15 to 20% of people worldwide are neurodiverse.
Do you identify as neurodiverse or work with or manage someone who does? This course has been designed for you. Neurodiversity comes with both huge strengths and significant challenges whether as a founder, a leader, or a team member. Join this 1-day course to understand more about neurodiversity, how it might show up in the workplace, and how to create an inclusive culture where difference is welcomed, accepted, and celebrated.
